About Capitol City car wash

Capitol City car wash is a self-service car wash in Montgomery, Alabama. It is listed at 120 Eastdale Rd S, Montgomery, AL 36117, which places it among the local businesses of Montgomery that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Montgomery, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Alabama, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Capitol City car wash at (334) 274-2886; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is capitol-wash.keeq.io, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 67 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded self-service car washes in Montgomery.

Montgomery is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Montgomery is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Alabama's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Quite clean...good water pressure. Brush and gun both worked as you'd expect. Only thing I didn't like....it's not very cost effective. You don't get much time for the money you spend.

We stopped here to clean all the bugs off the car from our long drive( used google to locate). My 2 year old grandson was with us so we decided to let him help wash the car. Not noticing the lot attendant was watching. He came over to the machine and started putting quarters in there. He said he would pay to see his joy; he did this twice! We told him it wasn’t necessary, but he said you are making memories. My grandson had the best time washing the car with his Papa. I was very touched by his kindness. As for the business, it was clean, prices we great, and there is plenty of space to wash and vacuum. We don’t live in Montgomery, but my daughter does. I will let her know we’ve found a great place to wash her car. We will also be back to get rid of bugs from our drive and to make more memories.

It's a nice self service car wash area. You get an ok amount of time for the money. And it's not over priced.

A decent, old school, self serve auto wash. Everything works. Vacuums available. Bring a towel to dry your car off. The Alabama sun will bake spots into the finish before you get a mile down the road.
